One soldier has died, and five others seriously injured in a ghastly accident at Binduri in the Upper East Region.
TV3’s Upper East Regional correspondent Castro Senyalah reports that the soldiers were returning to base after providing escort for a government official when their truck reportedly skidded off the road in Bazua and somersaulted.
Officials of the military are yet to officially comment on the incident, but pictures and videos available to 3news show that the car involved in the accident has been towed and survivors receiving treatment in a yet to be identified hospitals.
