Twenty students at Salaga Senior High school in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region have been arrested by the Police in Salaga after engaging in a free for all fight.
One person sustained various degrees of injury from being stabbed multiple times.
A locally manufactured pistol and one round of ammunition was also retrieved.
School authorities have since condemned the incident.
“We have handed them over to the Police and hope they screen them and those found culpable be made to face the full rigors of the law. We are disappointed in the actions of the students,” an official of the school said.
Meanwhile, the Police have begun taking statements from the suspects.
