Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spokesperson of former President John Dramani Mahama has said that members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) have the audacity to call persons within the NDC names at a time when massive rape and plunder of the public purse and allegations of corruption have been made against them.
She says that the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) promises to investigate all corrupt deals under the Akufo-Addo and prosecute the officials.
“As we approach the 07 December election, these are 7 items that the NPP will never talk about, massive rape and plunder of the public purse and allegations of corruption against them, President Akufo-Addo and Dr Bawumia and yet they still have the audacity to call persons within the NDC names,” she wrote on X.
She added “Considering the unprecedented level of hardship, poverty and unemployment just imagine how these humongous sums of money could be distributed to support the good people of Ghana. This election is not about the NDC, it is about the good people of Ghana. Mahama has promised that he will through O.R.A.L investigate, prosecute and recover all looted money and assets.
“58 million USD expended on National Cathedral with administrators drawing salaries with nothing to show, 34 million spare parts sole source contract awarded to Nana Addo’s daughters company, 100 million SML deal, Millions of dollars and cedis found at the home of Cecilia Dapaah, 5.37% haircut to pensioners and Individuals money ( first in the history of Ghana).
“We are still waiting for Bawumia to respond to the 170 or so questions he posed to Former VP Amissah Arthur in 2016. They are now even more valid today. Lest we forget, 11.9 million USD spent on Pwalugu Dam with nothing to show.”
