Thomas Partey is fit and ready – Mikel Arteta confirms

The Black Stars’ deputy captain has been a fundamental part of Arteta’s side in the ongoing season, starting all seven league games for the Gunners.

“Thomas Partey is fit and ready. For Gabriel Martinelli, same as Havertz; we will decide today, the manager said in his pre-game presser.

Partey was rewarded for his great start to the season with a rare goal at Villa Park on matchday two as Arsenal secured a 2-0 win. over Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.

Despite being hampered by injuries in his time at Arsenal, Partey’s fitness will be a boost to the Gunners’ aspirations of winning a first league title since 2004.

Arsenal are currently in third position on the league standings, one point off league leaders Liverpool.
