3News and MG Digital has opened nominations for its inaugural People of The Year (POTY) awards initiative.
People of the Year is an initiative to recognize and celebrate exceptional Ghanaians who have made significant contributions to the country’s development.
The initiative’s objective is to recognize the excellence of outstanding individuals in their various fields and to expose the inspiring stories of these individuals and their impacts on society.
This also seeks to enhance 3News’ reputation as a media organization committed to celebrating Ghanaian achievements and promoting national pride.
The categories for the honors encompass the area of agriculture, education, health, technology, arts and culture, business and entrepreneurship and Governance and Social Impact.
The general public is encouraged to nominate persons they deem deserving of recognition for their outstanding contributions to Ghana’s development in their various fields.
Deadline for nomination is November 30 after which a public voting will commence in December 2024.
