Mr Eric Adjei , the Deputy Spokesperson of Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, running mate to the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has described as disgusting, the comparison between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate Dr Matthew Opoku-Prempeh and that of the NDC.
His comment comes on the heels of a recent interview in which the spokesperson of the NPP running mate, Mr Fiifi Boafo claimed that Dr Opoku Prempeh was doing far better than Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
Reacting to the claims by Fiifi Boafo on his Facebook post, Mr Adjei noted that, the comparison is disgusting.
“I really don’t understand the basis of his claims, but I hope he remembers that on the very day “Otumfour” advised him to refrain from his arrogant behavior, he insulted the former president of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Yet, Fiifi Boafo wonders why, as a spokesperson, every time his candidate makes a public statement, they have to issue an apology”, he wrote
Eric Adjei described Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as a very mature woman, well-cultured, and possesses a humble personality with greater acceptance among intellectuals for her contributions to nation-building in Ghana.
He urged Mr Fiifi Boafo to desist from comparing the two as he has no case to compare Napo whose campaign has failed to that of Jane.
