Member of Parliament for Hohoe, Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo has been appointed a member of the Finance Committee of Parliament.
Mr Tsekpo holds an HND in Entrepreneurship and Finance, a Degree in Entrepreneurship and a Masters in Industrial Finance and Investment.
“I’m happy as a member of Parliament for the good people of Hohoe serving my motherland,” he told journalists.
Other members of the Finance Minittee are Cape Coast South lawmaker, Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan, Asahiam MP, Ernest Henry Norgbe, Dr Gideon Boako, Tano North, and Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, Karaga, among others.
Isaac Adongo, Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, has been named Chairman of the Finance Committee.
With his expertise in economic and fiscal matters, Adongo will lead the committee in reviewing the national budget, tax policies, and other critical financial issues.
These appointments reflect Parliament’s commitment to strengthening its oversight functions and promoting accountability in governance.
