Emtee Shares Positive Update Ahead Of “DIY 3” Release. Emtee has been very vocal about releasing the third instalment of the DIY series. The rapper has made it clear that DIY 3 will be the last instalment of the series and he is aiming to make it worthwhile for his fans and the hip-hop game at large.

Taking to Twitter, Emtee has once again come through with a new update regarding the work behind his much-anticipated DIY 3. The rapper said that he is aiming to have a studio session with prominent SA Hip hop producer Ruff.

The self-proclaimed Hustler is yet to reveal the release date, but he has hinted that DIY 3 might be released sooner than he anticipated. “Me Ruff doing studio soon and when I start, I don’t stop. DIY3 could drop earlier than I thought,” tweeted Emtee.

Outside of music, Emtee has been caught up in the wave of scandal after his wife accused him of beating her. The rapper came out and clarified what happened in a bid to clear his name after his wife opened an assault charge against him.

“I was informed that a warrant of arrest was out. I know I have nothing to hide, I am not an abuser. I went to the police station with my lawyer,”  he said. The artist claimed that his wife is the one who physically assaults him in their marriage and further claimed that she is to blame for the bruises on his body.

“She hits me. She got her bruises after coming at me. She came charging at me and I defended myself. I did not hit her. I held her and shook her. Why would never hit a woman and a heavily pregnant one at that?“

For the sake of peace, Emtee said that he moved out of the house and he doesn’t want the same situation that happened with Flabba to happen to him. “She can stay in the house for the sake of the kids, but I can’t do this anymore. Things can become really bad and I don’t want this to be another Flabba situation. One mistake and something wrong might happen,” Emtee said.
