Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku made his 50th appearance for the Foxes last night in the EFL Cup third round against Walsall.
Issahaku permanently joined the Foxes prior to the commencement of the 2024/25 season after initially playing out on loan at the Midland club last season.
Issahaku joined Leicester City from Sporting CP for €17m and has since scored seven times, providing 14 assists in that period.
The winger has amassed 40 Championship appearances, five Premier League appearances, three EFL and two FA Cup appearances.
The Ghanaian, who helped Leicester City regain promotion after going down in the 2022-23 season, was named the Foxes Young Player of the Season last term after a remarkable campaign.
On Tuesday, the 20-year-old was instrumental for Leicester City as they beat Walsall 3-0 on penalties to reach the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Despite providing an assist on his Premier League debut against Tottenham Hotspurs at the King Power stadium on the opening day of the season, Issahaku is yet to get off the mark in the Premier League – with the Foxes away at Arsenal on Saturday.
