The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said that the Akufo-Addo administration will continue partnering traditional leaders for the needed holistic development across the country.
Dr Bawumia said this when he joined HRM Oklepeme Nuer Anorbaah Sasraku II and the chiefs and people of the Yilo Klo state for the 32nd Kloyosikplemi Festival at Somanya in the Eastern Region yesterday afternoon.
He noted that festivals are an important part of Ghanaian culture, serving as a glue that brings families and friends together.
“I commend the Chiefs and people of the Yilo Klo state for their focus on using festivals as a catalyst to garner support for developmental projects,” Dr Bawumia wrote on his Facebook page.
He added, “Government will continue to partner traditional authorities for holistic national development.”
