Deputy Agriculture Minister and actor, John Kofi Setor Dumelo buried his late father in a solemn ceremony on Saturday, March 7 in Accra.
The funeral service of the late John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Snr, held at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Adabraka, saw the presence of several prominent personalities including Ibrahim Mahama, Randy Abbey, Sonnie Badu, Van Vicker, Adjetey Annang, James Gardiner among others who came to pay their final respect to Dumelo’s father.
Dumelo announced the death of his father earlier in January.
At the church service of the late Dumelo Snr, the Ayawaso MP was seen stricken with grief as he wore a white and black attire and had a pair of sunglasses on.
During his tribute, Dumelo reflected on the time spent with his late dad describing him as his best friend, partner and support system.
Mr. John Dumelo Snr died at age 75.
