The Kwesimintsim NDC Constituency Chairman Kwasi Nyarko, has promised a resounding 55% victory for Lawyer Philip Fiifi Buckman, the parliamentary candidate, and John Dramani Mahama, the party’s flagbearer, in the upcoming elections.
This vow was made during the “Obiara Ka Ho Walk for Change” campaign on November 10, where enthusiasm and optimism filled the air.
With just a few days to 2024, December 7 general elections, parliamentary candidates are pulling out all the stops to win over their constituents. In the Kwesimintsim constituency, hundreds of passionate National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters in the constituency took to the streets, united under the banner of “Obiara Ka Ho Walk for Change.”
Donning their party colors, they marched through the constituency’s main streets, sending a clear message they demand change. After years of NPP governance, the constituents said they feel neglected, citing a lack of development in the area.
Diana Yankey a proud constituent with joy expressed her concerns “For years, we’ve been under NPP leadership, but unfortunately, we haven’t seen any significant development or progress in our constituency”.
“On the other hand, every achievement and infrastructure development we see here is courtesy of the NDC leadership. It’s time for a change! We need an NDC member of parliament to lead our constituency to prosperity. We can no longer support the NPP.”
Their call to action echoes the NDC’s commitment to progress, as seen in their past achievements. The party has created over 341,000 formal sector jobs and 400,000 private sector jobs through government infrastructure projects since 2009.
Their “Walk for Change” rally underscores the importance of community engagement and grassroots mobilization in driving meaningful transformation.
By standing together, these supporters aim to bring attention to the constituency’s needs and push for tangible progress.
Kwasi Nyarko, the constituency chairman, made a declaration, promising a 55% victory for both parliamentary candidates and their flag bearer. What’s more, he’s thrilled to see a united front, something he’s never witnessed before.
“I’ve never seen a crowd this massive before, and it’s all thanks to Lawyer Philip Fiifi Buckman’s exceptional relationship with our constituency. His sociability has earned him widespread love and support. This is undoubtedly his moment, and I’m confident that NPP should concede this seat. We’re looking at a resounding 55% victory for Lawyer Buckman and our leader, John Dramani Mahama.” He assured his constituents.
Lawyer Philip Fiifi Buckman was overwhelmed with gratitude as he gazed out at the sea of supporters in Kwesimintsim. “I’m deeply humbled by this overwhelming show of support. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my constituents, who have turned out in massive numbers. This is truly a divine intervention, and I believe that no human effort can reverse the positive change that is unfolding.”
“I assure you that our collective efforts will empower both the young and old, providing meaningful support and employment opportunities that will elevate the Kwesimintsim community to greater heights”, he exclaimed.
Lawyer Philip Fiifi Buckman’s dedication to the community is truly inspiring. His previous efforts to support BECE candidates with mathematical sets and intensive classes through the Fiifi Buckman Foundation have made a tangible impact.
Now, he’s taken it a step further by providing essential items to Junior High School students who excelled in the BECE, including trunks, mattresses, chop boxes, exercise books and undisclosed amounts of money to the best graduating students in the constituency.
These selfless acts demonstrate Buckman’s genuine concern for the community’s well-being and his commitment to empowering future generations.
As the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for Kwesimintsim, Buckman’s message of change and development resonates deeply with the constituents. With the elections just around the corner, this momentum is crucial for Buckman’s campaign.
