One good turn deserves another – Finance Minister urges Walewale residents to vote for Bawumia

The Minister of Finance, Mohammed Amin Adam has said that Government has spent 12 billion cedis on the implementation of the free Senior High School programme since 2017.

Addressing party faithful at Walewale in the North East Region, he said government has invested heavily in infrastructure.

“We have invested heavily in infrastructure and human capital development, take for example the free senior high school programme, we have invested 12 billion cedis so far. That is so much money, we have invested in the National Health Insurance programme, we have invested in the capitation grant, we have invested in the school feeding programme,” he stated.

He therefore urged them to vote for the NPP.

“This government has done so much, the Malams here, the Quaran says, one good turn deserves another and so here in Walewale, his Excellency the Vice President has given so much we have to give back to him,” he appealed.

Flagbearer of the NPP Dr Mahamudu Bawumia said, the NPP believes in possibilities.

“What is very very clear, we in the NPP believe in possibilities in making things happen. Our opponents on the other hand don’t believe in possibilities. And when you follow all the things we have tried to do, and how we have been discouraged from doing them you will understand me. When we said we were bringing free SHS they told us it was 419, they said it was not possible, but we made it possible,” Dr Bawumia stated.
