Overlord of Wala State congratulates president-elect Mahama on historic win

In a heartfelt congratulatory message, Wa Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV, the Overlord of the Wala State, praised President-Elect Napogbakole Naa John Dramani Mahama on his resounding victory in the December 7, 2024, elections. The Overlord expressed his admiration for the President-Elect’s humility, candour, and sincerity, which resonated with the Ghanaian people.

“Your almost self-effacing humility, candour and sincerity resonated well with the people”, he stated.

The Overlord noted that Ghanaians had spoken loudly and clearly, demonstrating their trust in President-Elect Mahama’s leadership.

Addressing the media on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the Traditional Council, Secretary to the Overloard, Jinpenhi Naa Kadri Ibrahim who read the statement on behalf of Overlord emphasized that this trust was not misplaced, as the President-Elect had a proven track record of service and a campaign message that resonated with the people.
“This was not by accident. It was a calculated action based on their experience of your service in that position before as well as their belief in the plausibility of your campaign message”‘, he added.

While acknowledging the challenges that lie ahead, the Overlord expressed confidence in President-Elect Mahama’s ability to meet the expectations of Ghanaians. He wished the President-Elect Allah’s guidance and protection in his duty to reset the Republic of Ghana.
“We are not oblivious of the fact that the beginning will be a herculean task as a result of where we are coming from but with your tenacity of purpose, backed by the goodwill of Ghanaians, you will ride the storm successfully,” he softly mentioned.

The Overlord’s congratulatory message was not limited to the President-Elect, as he also wished him, his family, and all Ghanaians a peaceful and happy yuletide season. This message of goodwill and support reflects the Overlord’s commitment to the well-being and prosperity of the Ghanaian people.
