Founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has opened up about his upbringing, revealing that he began smoking marijuana at the age of 13.
In an interview on Hitz FM, November 6, the man of God shared his challenges and difficult moments as a child, stating that he hails from a poor background.
According to him, his impoverished upbringing had a negative impact on his life leading him to make wrong choices in his early days.
“At the age of 13, I started smoking marijuana. I grew up from an extremely poor background. If there is a word beyond poverty, that’s where I came from,” he stated, describing the hardships he and his family faced, with his mother struggling to provide and his father absent from his life.
He recalled that he was introduced to smoking marijuana by a friend named Anokye, who took him to the Odawna railway area to smoke.
Gaisie recalled living with his mother at Asylum Down and personally witnessing the challenges of their surroundings.
However, he mentioned that a woman named Mama, who was well-known in the neighborhood, once declined to sell him bread after realising his drug use.
