Defending Ghana Premier League champions Samartex 1996 have confirmed the appointment of Christopher Ennin as their new head coach, following the recent departure of Nurudeen Amadu due to poor results.
The Nsekyire-based club announced the appointment on their Facebook page with a brief statement: “Chris is our man. We are delighted to confirm that Christopher Ennin has agreed to become the club’s new Head Coach.”
Ennin, who previously managed Berekum Chelsea, brings significant Ghana Premier League experience to Samartex.
His appointment comes at a crucial time as the champions are currently struggling in the league, sitting in 10th place with 17 points after 14 matches.
The experienced tactician will be tasked with reviving the team’s form as they look to defend their Premier League title.
