Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie has landed a deal to collaborate with legendary Reggae musician, Bob Marley.
The late Bob Marley’s team made a decision to release a posthumous version of his smash hit ‘Stir It Up’ with The Wailers and feature Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie on the track.
The Jamaican star died in 1981 but Island Records– his team–wants to do amazing things with his works.
Bob Marley’s team made the announcement on his social media pages this week which pushed Sarkodie to twitter top trends in the country.
The ‘stir it up’ remix is expected to be released on Friday, January 20, 2023.
Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo, who was delighted about the collaboration expressed his gratitude to the Marley family for choosing him for the project.
“What a way to kick start this year!!!
